Sunobi releases Utility vs. Battery tool to help California contractors highlight NEM 3.0 savings

Sunobi announced the launch of its new Utility vs. Battery tool to help customers make well-informed decisions about solar panel and battery options, while simplifying the sales process in California’s rapidly growing solar market. California has long been a leader in solar energy adoption, but as the state transitions to the new NEM 3.0 program, solar customers will see the most savings by purchasing both a battery and solar panels. The new structure makes the decision-making process more complex and costlier upfront.

The Utility vs. Battery tool by Sunobi addresses this challenge, enabling solar sales reps to easily guide customers in selecting the best batteries for their specific needs, taking into account factors such as seasonality, future upgrades and appliance usage.

“Sunobi is committed to making the world a greener place by enabling more people to adopt solar energy. With the launch of our Utility vs. Battery tool, we are taking another significant step toward simplifying the solar sales process and making it more accessible for consumers, particularly in California where solar adoption is soaring,” said Tydus Queiroz, CIO at Sunobi.

In addition to streamlining the sales process, Sunobi is partnering with leading battery manufacturers to ensure their products are presented to customers effectively. This collaboration will create a seamless and informative experience for both solar sales representatives and potential solar customers.
