SolaX recently showcased its A1-ESS G2 energy storage system, which was specifically designed for the American market, at Intersolar North America.
The A1-ESS G2 energy storage system features a modular stacking design. The entire system includes an inverter, BMS, energy storage battery, and BI, with 200% oversizing, 16A high-current input, 150% MPPT power, and 150% off-grid capability, according to the company.
One of the standout features of the A1-ESS G2 is its smart load management and home appliance control. The system can power the entire home load, enabling true energy independence and instantaneous off-grid switching for an immersive work, play, and living experience. Intelligent load rating management helps save energy costs by dividing home loads into three categories: critical loads and lights, daily loads, and additional loads and high-power loads. Users can manage the usage time of loads intelligently based on the priority and importance of home loads, which is especially important during power outages and high electricity prices. The SolaX Cloud APP allows users to turn off home loads remotely or turn on home lights, water heaters, and other loads in advance before returning home.
The A1-ESS G2 supports microgrid function, meaning it can operate while connected to or isolated from the grid. Additionally, with AC-coupled solutions, customers can install the A1-ESS G2 with existing PV systems to realize microgrid function.
The A1-ESS G2 features a black start function that can trigger the inverter up to seven times between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. (or as per customer’s requirement) until the system is back to work when the grid is down, the battery is low, and the inverter is dead. The process is entirely automatic.
The A1-ESS G2 can support high-power household loads with up to four parallel units, allowing a 30-kW/80-kWh parallel system to meet the energy supply needs of most households. The all-in-one design of the A1-ESS G2 makes the system not only simple and elegant but also much easier to install. The plug-in terminals securely connect each module together, eliminating wiring work and allowing for quick installation and plug and play.
