Solar thermal company Solarus has a technology for businesses with a high consumption of hot water and electricity.
“Across the globe, people realize that the shift from fossil fuels to renewable energy is urgent, and we must reduce our CO2 emissions. Ultimately, that is the goal we have set for ourselves – to work for a sustainable future. For that future, you have to invest, innovate and make changes,” said Niels Stolk, CEO.
Solarus claims its solar thermal product is four-times more efficient than traditional solar PV, capturing 89% of the sun’s energy; 70% in heat and 19% converted into electricity. Solarus pumps the extracted heat and transfers it to electrical and water heating systems. Each project is designed to easily integrate with the facilities’ existing hot water and electrical systems.
Solarus says this solution typically lowers gas and electric costs up to 40%, making businesses more profitable.
