The new residential energy storage division of energy product company Renogy will showcase the Renogy X PowerTower at RE+ next week. The residential energy storage system comes with an integrated inverter and is offered through a direct sales model straight to homeowners.
Renogy X PowerTower is installed via a snap and lock system that connects the hybrid inverter with up to ten 5-kWh battery modules – all in a factory-designed and pre-packaged setup. The system starts at 10 kWh of capacity but can be expanded to 50 kWh of storage and 22.8 kW of continuous power.
“We’re excited to launch the Renogy X PowerTower as a part of our commitment to being at the cutting edge of innovation, and helping our installers provide the best value to households,” said Josh Schlipp, president of Renogy X. “Our mission is to make energy independence accessible to all by delivering the very best products and experience.”
The company will also debut at RE+ the Renogy X EV charger, which integrates into the Renogy X product ecosystem. Renogy X PowerTower is set to debut in May 2024.
