A new solar panel brand is now on the market in United States. Star Solar will officially launch at the RE+ show next week. The company is led by an all-woman executive team, including Bobby Starks as CEO, Lexie Lucas as president and Laura Waldrum as chief marketing officer.
“At Star Solar, we are problem solvers and innovators,” Starks said. “We have listened to our downstream partners in the industry. We know the pain supply chain pressures have inflicted and the customer service disappointments they have experienced with other suppliers. Our business model allows for nimble response to supply chain pressures coupled with exquisite customer service.”
Star Solar will debut two solar modules: STAR 440-W and STAR 400-W. Both are tailored to the residential and commercial markets and are all-black with a 25-year product and performance warranty. Additionally, Star Solar is an approved vendor for all major solar financiers in the United States.
“Our vision is to create a world where solar energy is attainable for anyone who wants to live a clean energy lifestyle,” Lucas said. “We are creating value for our customers so they can pass value on to the end user. We want to make selling solar easy for our clients and adopting solar a no-brainer for homeowners and businesses.”
Star Solar modules are manufactured in Australia. The company does hope to one day bring manufacturing to the United States.
