Gonvarri Solar Steel, a subsidiary of Gonvarri Industries from Madrid, Spain, that manufactures solar racking and trackers, is supplying 72 MW of its TracSmarT+ single- and dual-row trackers for a solar project in Texas.

The solar project will support Ferrovial Webber Energy, an infrastructure construction company. Solar Steel will supply 1,314 TracSmart+ trackers that will host 133,336 PV modules, generating enough energy to power 34,000 households each year.
Solar Steel racking and trackers have been used on 18 GW of solar projects globally, and this latest array will bring the company’s U.S. output to more than 4.2 GW.
