International solar tracker manufacturer PV Hardware (PVH) is opening a factory in Texas that is expected to be operational by June 2023. PVH currently has a facility in Valencia, Spain, and another in Saudi Arabia. This Texas factory will be the company’s third wholly-owned tracker manufacturing plant.
In its existing plants, PVH handles raw material purchases and acquired necessary equipment like controllers and robotics to keep manufacturing operations first-party, and plans to do the same with the Texas facility.
PVH has operated in the U.S. since 2011 and supplied structures for 36 solar projects across the country, totaling more than 2.5 GW. With this new factory, the company plans to tap local materials and workforces, according to a press release.
