Enstall finalizes acquisition of solar racking manufacturer Schletter

Solar mounting conglomerate Enstall completed acquisition of European racking manufacturer Schletter Group last week. Enstall (formerly known as Esdec) entered the U.S. market in 2018, and began purchasing competing solar mounting manufacturers in late 2019.

“This acquisition represents an important step in our mission to build a more sustainable future,” said, Stijn Vos, CEO of Enstall. “Schletter’s strong reputation for engineering excellence, combined with Enstall’s broad capabilities, will enable us to lead innovation across the solar sector. Together, we will deliver high-quality solutions and services that meet the diverse needs of the market, accelerating the global transition to renewable energy.”

Like Enstall, Schletter serves both the U.S. and European solar construction markets. Schletter produces structures for pitched roof, flat roof and ground-mount applications, including fixed-tilt racking and solar trackers.

The existing companies under Enstall’s umbrella are IronRidge, EcoFasten, the Esdec mounting brand, BluBase, PanelClaw and Sunfer.
