My experience with United Power Partners was outstanding from start to finish.I highly recommend contacting Dan (the solar man) Weik to answer any question you might have. He is extremely professional and upfront about everything. The whole United Power Partners team kept me posted throughout the entire evolution and answered any question I had. Longest process was getting the city to approve the system which was out of the hands of United Power Partners.

Dan with United Power Partners was professional, knowledgeable, and willing to help us! Our inverter had just died in July and had six months remaining on the warranty. Though Dan’s company had not placed the original solar panels on this home, they were still willing to help us get our inverter from the manufacturer. I searched several solar companies for pricing and came across United Power Partners. I worked with Dan throughout the entire process and he was fantastic. He provided white glove customer service and the process was so easy. Great pricing and no-nonsense

We had to have our roof replaced and contacted the manufacturer of the solar panels and was advised I needed to use one of their certified installers to maintain the warranty. Luckily I found United Power Partners on their website. Dan responded quickly with a quote and a promise they would work with the roofer schedule so we were without solar for a minimal time. His quote was less than other certified installers and the service was excellent. Everything was completed on time by a professional team. I highly recommend United Power Partners.

Excellent service. Dan came to our home and we discussed our solar options. He helped us weigh pros and cons, as in should we add a solar battery now or wait until there is a rebate, then with Dan’s help we had options on the table and maxed out our solar options. The owners designed our system and before we knew it they were installing everything. Dan jumped through hoops to make sure we were extremely satisfied and they didn’t have to. If I owned multiple properties, Untied Power Partners would be installing each with solar, but since I don’t I can only recommend that you use their services for your solar needs! I moved into a home with an existing solar system in January and had ZERO experience with solar prior to this. My initial foray into having my inverter replaced started with another group I found on Yelp who had great reviews but unfortunately my experience with them wasn’t in line with others. If it says anything about them they never even made it out to my house. That’s when I started looking for another solution and I’m so glad I did. Dan was very responsive and communicative throughout the process. Tom arrived on time, was courteous, efficient, and thorough. While I am new to solar, UPP Solar will absolutely be my go to for future needs! Thank you all.

United Power Partners was really great to work with. Dan came out to speak with us about our options. He didn’t just speak to my husband, he made me feel equally heard and that was appreciated. He was very informative and answered all our questions without wasting our time. They were great at keeping us informed throughout the entire installation process, right up to the point where our panels were activated. We chose to purchase vs. lease (same warranties and guarantees) and they offer plenty of loan option for qualified buyers. The process was seamless and will prove to be financially beneficial after the tax credits and rebates we will receive.

I know solar is a very competitive business around here, but I have to say I have been thrilled with United Power Partners!! Everything from sales to project management, to the insulation crew are beyond friendly, helpful and courteous. They definitely go above and beyond to make sure you’re happy. If you’ve been considering solar, set up an appointment with United Power Partners! Our rep Dan Weik made us feel very informed and comfortable about our decision to go solar. I am not one to typically make a big financial decision very quickly, and Dan’s knowledge and approach made me feel very comfortable with my decision. He was extremely thorough with all the information he provided, and answered all our questions before we could even ask them. We did not feel pressured to make a decision. Throughout the process so far, there has been excellent communication. We always know what is currently going on and what the ext step is! We started with them after getting 4-5 quotes from various different places. We didn’t feel comfortable wirh any of them. They have kept in touch with us through the whole process. We didn’t get The 30 day install but it rained a ton so it wasn’t an issue for us. Also it was because of waiting on permits so totally not their fault. The install team was awesome. They made this process very easy! We liked them so much we put a sign in our front yard and we are usually not those people.

After having a couple of other companies quote us, we chose United Power Partners and are glad we did. Very please with how the whole process went. Great communication, keeping us updated as to how the installation was progressing and a great team of installers. We now have Solar and are doing our bit to help save the planet and save money.

We had been thinking for years to install solar panels ,not only to capitalize on the all the sun we have in SD but to to decrease our carbon footprint and live a greener life style. Our family had a great experience with United Power Partners.They are very professional and provide outstanding customer service.The owner has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the world of solar and his main priority is to inform the customer ,to educate them and allow them to make the best decision after knowing all the facts regarding “going solar”. We did not feel pressured even for a second,we did not feel like “we were sold on an idea that we did not have complete understanding of” and felt comfortable asking questions to ensure that we completely understood the process. Dan sold me on a rooftop system in June and I was up and running this Feb. Installation didn’t take too long, but the city took a long time to come out and inspect the system and get the meter installed. The others in the office were very good at keeping me updated. Now I’m saving up energy credits for the summer. It felt like a big gamble but I’m glad I went with United Power Partners.

I did quite a bit of research comparing them to other solar companies and they came out on top for customer service, installation, maintenance and price plus keeping me posted along the way as things progressed. The day I met Dan from United Power Partners was the first day that I took control of my energy bills. Dan is a very knowledgeable representative for the company and came completely prepared to our meeting. Dan was able to lay things down in a very easy to understand way and still keep up on the technical side. I have never felt so cared for by a company, These guys went to the ends of the earth to earn my business and made me feel valued as a customer. I can honestly say that I had zero issues with United Power Partners throughout the entire process from signing to PTO. I have not yet gotten my first power bill but even with being turned on in Feb I’ve already banked over 100kWh for the summer to come. I was lucky and with the hard work of the guys over at UPP Solar It only took 50 days from sign to turn on with SDGE. I have given their information to family and friends and would recommend them to anyone looking to go solar.

Dan is super friendly and very professional at what he does. He hooked up my house in El Cajon with solar power. It was the smoothest process, very straight forward and easy to understand. As soon as he told me how much $$$ I’d be saving it was a done deal. I was spending between $400 -$500 a month in electricity bills, instead now my electricity bill has been completely eliminated! Plus I have a whole new solar panel installation setup which in turn increased the value to my home. It’s a no brainer win-win solution for all. Love our new solar system! Dan was very kind, helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. We called to get an estimate because our electrical bill was over $400 a month. We collected 6 different estimates and they were all very pushy and aggressive, tried to sell us things we didn’t need (solar battery, more panels than what we needed…), but then we met Dan and he was so informative, sweet, honest, and gave us the best offer from all of them. Now our electrical bill is $10 a month, so we know we got exactly what we needed, not more or less, and we pay for the solar system only $57 a month! I was very happy with United Power Partners. They made everything clear in the beginning and followed through in a very professional way. Dan always answered the phone when I called and was always very helpful. It was a complicated process so the right people was really important.

Just got our first bill and i couldn’t be happier, was certainly worth it. We had never purchased solar before and we expected to be a complicated, confusing and tedious process but that couldn’t be further from the truth with United Power Partners. Dan came to the first meeting and he was very professional and honest, he took the time to explain how the system works and what the process of installation looked like. The installation process was very smooth and they were punctual and respectful of the property. Would give a 10 star review if allowed.

We had a seamless experience with United Power Partners. We reached out because of their excellent reviews and were very satisfied with our experience. When we first started exploring solar for our house, “exhausting” we finally reached out to UPP Solar and were immediately connected with an energy/solar consultant to help guide us through the information and decisions needed to pursue solar. Our energy consultant took the time to explain how solar works, the benefits/drawbacks, and how to approach designing a system for our home. He was always thoughtful, calm, and detailed in his approach and never pushed for a sale. Once we were decided on the size system we wanted on our home, he helped walk us through the installation process and next steps. There was much new jargon and acronyms to learn and he took the time to explain everything in simple terms. I was impressed The installation was quick and painless. Not too long after we were approved to operate and we are now generating our own solar power. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily recommend.

I can be a very tough customer for any home upgrade/repair company because I demand the highest quality work and materials at the lowest possible price. In other words I can be a real PITA! l.o.l. So when I decided to invest in solar for my modest home in Del Mar CA I got a total of six full quotes from reputable companies (including some of the big national ones). Some of my friends and neighbors, knowing how cheap I can be, steered me to Costco but I was unhappy with the responsiveness and level of service I got from their installer. Ultimately United Power Partners wasn’t the LOWEST quote, but hands down best product, company, service of any of the bids and the rep was very responsive and helpful on the phone. The total time for the install, inspection and full turn on of our system was less time than they had estimated and I am extremely happy with the service. There was one panel that had an issue and they got someone out swiftly and they ended up replacing it at no charge with a new one. Overall I highly recommend United Power Partners and a special thanks to our sales rep who was terrific.

Dan and the rest of the team at United Power Partners are awesome. From start of the process to installation, they were communicative, responsive and provided excellent service. Even after installation, they took the time to walk through our system and energy bills to go over what to expect. The contractors were friendly, courteous, professional- top notch. We added solar as part of a home renovation and these guys were seriously the nicest crew we worked with.

We have had a very pleasant experience with United Power Partners and their team and I would highly recommend them for your solar installation project! The rep was very professional and not in the least bit pushy compared to the two other companies’ reps we had dealt with and provide quotes. I got the feeling he was trustworthy and had our interests at heart. He always responded in a timely way by email whenever I had a follow up questions. I was very confident about the actual technology and further reassured that the warranty was 25 years. The system came out on top when compared to Costco and another solar provider. Though, to be honest, there wasn’t much in it when looking at the production numbers. Dan took us through the design process, explained how the system would meet our requirements in a highly knowledgable manner, and gave us a clear view of the next steps and timeline once we’d decided to go ahead. The project management was very good leading up to, and including the installation itself. As far as the installation process, which took only one and half days and caused minimal disruption, I am happy to say they were very courteous and hard-working. Post installation support has been impressive, so far, too. I’m very glad I chose United Power Partners for my solar system.

United Power Partners is a business you can trust. I highly recommend them. We commissioned them for an 18 panel system for our house 2 months ago. Everything was explained and followed without exception. All questions were answered and some before we asked. The installers were prompt, courteous, professional. One concern going into this endeavor was what happens if there is damage to the roof. They have an experienced engineer with background in roofing. There was a stain discovered under one of the broken tiles (that they replace with new ones, for free), and this was investigated with a free inspection of the interior of the attic. No leak was found, and the evidence indicated that the stain was during construction 17 years ago. Really nice that all the information was delivered in writing. So my fear of damage to the roof has been completely allayed. System was installed on time, in budget and without issues. Connection to SDG&E is handled internally. To Dan and Company, Bravo. Every small business should be run this way. First day the system showed 29kwh of production, a bit more than our average daily usage. And on a March sunny day.

Dan the man and the entire office did a fantastic job of walking us through exactly what to expect and when to expect it. They made a complex process simple and without complication. The United Power Partners installers were professional, and cleaned up after themselves each day so that we didn’t have to deal with a construction site. Most importantly, they under promised and over delivered…. to date generating more than promised.
