Catalyst Power Holdings LLC is opening subscriber enrollment for the Westmoreland Community Solar Farm to small businesses and residents of Oneida County, New York. With more than 3.6 GWh of availability, the new clean energy supply creates a significant opportunity for central New York small businesses, houses of worship, farms and residential customers to save on their utility bills.
“We’re thrilled to be offering this new community solar capacity for Central New York. Community solar offers a simple and fast way to cut electricity bills and access the other benefits of clean energy,” said Gabe Phillips, founder and CEO of Catalyst Power. “Catalyst Power is committed to helping New Yorkers access clean energy solutions that deliver savings, and New York’s community solar program provides one of the easiest ways for them to save money while supporting the local community.”
Community solar provides free savings for New York subscribers on their monthly utility bills. Unlike traditional solar, where an array is installed on the business or homeowner’s property, community solar is installed at an offsite location and requires no investment on the subscriber’s part.
