Catalyze, which develops, builds, owns, and operates solar, battery storage, and EV charging systems for commercial and industrial customers, and ACE Solar are collaborating on a 6.3 MW solar project in Blackstone, Massachusetts.
Located on a repurposed dairy farm in Blackstone MA, the project consists of 15,580 solar panels and a 3 MW / 6.4 mWh battery storage system. It is part of the MA Smart program and will commence commercial operations later this summer.
The 6.3 MW community solar project will provide affordable solar energy to surrounding residents and businesses, saving subscribers an average of 10% off of their current utility rate, while delivering a critical service to the community.

The project will produce enough solar energy each year to power 732 homes, and displaces 6,402 tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, which is equivalent to the greenhouse gas emissions from 1,251 gas-powered cars.
