PV Hardware (PVH), a global solar tracker supplier, has launched PVH Terra, a foundation system engineered and manufactured entirely in the United States that is designed to tackle challenging soil conditions in utility-scale solar installations.
Being fully manufactured in the United States, PVH Terra meets and exceeds the qualifications for the domestic content credit found in the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
PVH claims the ground-mount foundation can reduce embedment depth by up to 70%, depending on project site conditions. The mount is a perpendicular screw that drives into the ground at an angle using specialized machinery.
“PVH Terra is not just an innovative product — it’s a milestone for American manufacturing and renewable energy. As one of the first foundation systems to meet 100% domestic content standards, PVH Terra embodies a commitment to supporting U.S.-based manufacturing, job creation and supply chain resilience,” PVH stated in a press release.
