Solar Power World is proud to today unveil its inaugural winning class of Top Products for the solar and storage industry. The 2024 Top Products contest celebrates the most innovative and significant products available to the U.S. market.
“Our judges had their work cut out for them, assessing many submissions in both the residential and large-scale markets for their originality, market promise and benefit to installers and developers,” said Kelly Pickerel, editor in chief of Solar Power World. “The 2024 Top Products winners represent all areas of project development, from software to installation tools. These really are some of the best products on the market right now that are helping contractors do their jobs better.”
The competition — split into two market tracks: large-scale and residential — was judged by industry professionals with experience in all markets, representing the research, product development and installation sectors. Biographies on the 2024 judges can be found here.
The five highest-performing products in each market were awarded Best in Show distinctions while five additional products were awarded Honorable Mentions based on their product categories.
Large-scale Best in Show winning companies include Ivy Energy, Nevados, CPS America, Unirac and Gripple. Large-scale Honorable Mentions were given to products in the panel, installation equipment, inverter, power electronics and solar-plus categories.
Residential Best in Show winning companies include Aurora Solar, King Products, Infinity Rack, Enerflo and Lumos Solar. Residential Honorable Mentions were given to products in the inverter, mounting, panel, storage and solar-plus categories.
“Having industry experts choose the winners provides extra weight to the winning products in our 2024 Top Products competition,” Pickerel said. “Our judges believe these products are already making a difference on projects across the United States, and the industry as a whole is better because of these advanced technologies.”
